About Me

Therapist, Counselor, Educator, and Consultant Harmony Revard, MSW, LCSW

As an LCSW, my philosophy is that YOU are the expert of your own life. It is my job to help you uncover and highlight your strengths so that you can tackle the challenges that keep you stuck.

I began practicing in 2017, offering mental health services to individuals and families at my tribe, Osage Nation's, WahZhaZhe Health Center.  From there I had a short tenure managing a mental health team at a local Certified Community Behavioral Health Center.  Although I am now in private practice, I offer consultation services and work with organizations, providing support to staff by facilitating groups that address ethics, clinical implications, burnout mitigation, as well as the promotion of health and wellness.

I've been in therapeutic practice since 2017, however; my passion for working with others was born in my years as a special education teacher for Tulsa Public Schools.  As someone with an educator's heart, I gain great fulfillment in seeing other's succeed and flourish.

I hope to help you achieve your goals.

Empowering Treatment Methods

Meditation, mindfulness, serenity, and calm

Individual Counseling and Talk Therapy

Individual counseling services are tailored to help you navigate personal challenges and achieve your goals. I offer a supportive and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your needs, gain insights into your thoughts and patterns, and develop effective strategies for positive growth.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a therapy designed to help people work through trauma and tough memories. In EMDR sessions, a therapist helps clients recall their traumatic experiences while guiding them through eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation. This combo helps reprocess those memories, making them less overwhelming and allowing for healthier ways to cope. EMDR has been proven effective for a range of issues, including PTSD, anxiety, and depression, making it a powerful tool in mental health care.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a hands-on, practical approach to mental health that focuses on the link between our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It’s about identifying and changing unhelpful thought patterns and habits to improve how we feel and act in everyday situations. With CBT, you learn to challenge negative thinking, build healthier responses, and develop coping skills you can use long-term.

Narrative Therapy

Narrative Therapy is an approach that sees people as separate from their problems, viewing issues as stories we carry rather than fixed parts of our identity. In this therapy, you explore and "rewrite" these personal stories, focusing on strengths and values to reshape how you see yourself and your life. The idea is to empower you by shifting perspective, so instead of being defined by a problem, you see yourself as capable of overcoming it and creating a new, more positive narrative.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is an approach that guides you to acknowledge challenging thoughts and feelings without trying to change or avoid them. Rather than "fixing" uncomfortable emotions, ACT encourages you to make room for them, all while focusing on what’s truly important to you. The goal is to help you build resilience in facing challenges, stay aligned with your values, and create a fulfilling life, even when things get tough. It’s about responding to life with acceptance and dedication to what matters most.

All Welcome: A Client-Centered Philosophy

As an inclusive therapist, I’m dedicated to fostering a safe and welcoming environment for all clients, no matter their backgrounds or experiences. I celebrate the diversity within the LGBTQ+ community and aim to offer supportive and empathetic care. My approach is grounded in respect and understanding, with a focus on the unique challenges that individuals from different cultural, social, and identity backgrounds may face.
